Mitchell, also a graduate of Mercer’s Law School, began his law career as an assistant district attorney for the Southern Judicial District in Thomasville, Georgia. In 1999, Mitchell left the prosecutor’s office and began his private practice and teaching duties. Mr. Mitchell has served as a part-time professor of criminal justice at Thomas University and currently is the sitting Judge of the State Court of Thomas County and sitting Judge of the City of Thomasville Municipal Court.
