Craig R. Mclaurin has been defending the rights of individuals and small business owners for over 30 years. He began his career in the area of civil rights working for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), The Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and the NAACP. His second passion is real estate and in 1985, he founded Park Avenue Realty, Inc. He remains President of this full service real estate company and is a licensed Broker in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
During the economic recession of the early 1990s, he combined his knowledge of law and real estate to counsel distressed homeowners and earned the title “the peoples’ hard times attorney”. Today, we are in the midst of the worst economic downturn since the great depression. To answer this need, Attorney McLaurin and his staff are using the new laws and procedures available to homeowners and debtors. His goal is to give each of his clients peace of mind and the fresh start they deserve.
